Supplier Committee Update

The Supplier Committee has a busy year ahead with some important work that will have an impact on us all.

The Yili and Westland Milk Products 10-year Scheme of Arrangement ends after the 2028/29 season.

This agreement, originally ratified by the High Court when Yili purchased Westland in 2019, contains the terms of supply we currently work to including pricing.

We have begun reviewing these terms and we will be working with Westland to develop what those terms will be from the 2029/30 season onwards.

This means there has never been a more important time for you to work with your representative to stay informed and have your say.

We’re also working to support the development of digital tools to ultimately replace the books we currently use for farm records as well as the introduction of Milk Vat Monitoring on farm.

We will be seeking your feedback and insights in the coming months. Please contact your representative on the supplier committee to offer your thoughts as we introduce and discuss these important developments and work towards an even brighter combined future after the 10-year agreement ends.
